This blog shares my personal approach to achieving a seemingly effortless form of hosting, entertaining, and keeping up with friends both nearby and far away. I consider myself both a professional and a homemaker. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and entertaining them in my home. Many of these things I have learned from my mother, grandmother, friends, and my own personal travels and experience. For those who want in on some hosting secrets, look no further.

As far as my guest room goes, I have many long-time friends scattered across the world and I am always delighted when they come to Texas for a visit.  As it is often a long journey, I love pulling out all the stops and making them feel like they are truly on a vacation.  I will show you how to do this too in your own hosting space, whether you have a spare room or simply an air mattress or pull out couch. I  will also share my tips and experiences hosting small gatherings and entertaining, as this is often something I enjoy doing when I have guests over.
